Orangutan -salah satu satwa primata yang harus dilindungi karena terancam punah akibat perdagangan illegal dan kerusakan hutan habitat tempat tinggalnya yang semakin lama semakin parah akibat dijarah oleh para kapitalis industrialis- misalnya, tidak hidup di Inggris dan memang cuma ada di Sumatera dan Kalimantan. Jadi wajar saja kalau kemudian kata tersebut diserap dalam bahasa Inggris.
